What are the steps involved in starting a web design project?
- First of all we will discuss your requirements. Discussions and suggestions will involve, best practice as well as design features.
- We will offer a quote for the expected work required from our discussions.
- After agreeing payment terms*, we will begin to design your site. You will be involved at all stages. We would sooner you advise us of changes at the early stages, rather than towards the end of the design process.
*Depending on the size of the project we may request a retainer deposit. Small sites do not usually require this, payment is only once you are happy
- We will give you an estimate of how long it will take us to complete. At this stage, if you have chosen to host through us, your chosen domain name will be registered and the web space (including a temporary holding page), FTP and email will be configured on the hosts servers.
- As per our agreed time-scales, we will then show you the core design and make any final changes if necessary.
- The completed site will be checked over by us and by you to ensure everything is working. The site will then be made live for the public to view.
- We will optimise each of your pages and submit your site to all the search engines to drag visitors in.
